Based on the amazing work of Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting

Reveal surveyed 211 of the largest Silicon Valley tech companies that were required to submit EEO-1 diversity reports to the federal government for 2016.

Only 23 did. Find out who didn't here. They compiled the data and wrote a great article about it.

The data is available here under the Open Database License.

How to read ?

A company is represented by 100 rectangles, each rectangle would be one person. The rectangle color represent its race.
Here we would have 60 white people, 10 asian people, 10 black or african american people, 10 latino people and 10 people from other minorities.

It's actually a representation of the proportion of each race within the company (1 rectangle = 1%).
The largest proportion is shown first, from the top left.
